Gear list Journal Plan

Appalachian Trail Map

I'm a gear junkie. Yes I am.

I have reviewed and researched, asked a lot of questions and listened to many opinions about gear. What gear? Why that gear? How did it work for you? Is it worth the money? On and on and on.
And the money. Holy crap when you start adding it all up, it really hits you pretty hard if you've been buying a little here and a little there. WOW!!!!!!
But I have gathered, I think, a pretty good selection of gear. I've doubled up on a few things, like the stove, so I can compare the JetBoil and Pocket Rocket. I'm also looking at a Hennesey Hammock. Never used one before but I'm willing to try it out before I start on a longer hike. Who knows.
The gear list that I've started putting together is a work in progress. But I'll finish it up soon.
All of this leading up to day hikes and then some shakedown hikes. Can't wait. I'll also be adding a few more 3-4 day trips for this fall to the planner page. This old guy is gonna rock.
