One week to go.
With one week to go till I leave home for Crazy Cook, I'm excited! Been packing resupply boxes all day and it's just become April Fools Day, and I thought that would be an auspicious time to start this journal.
When I hiked the PCT in 2010, I fell in love with the long trail experience and have been dreaming of the CDT since then. When I started that hike it was only going to be 5 weeks across the deserts and home, but after a week I knew I had to keep hiking. From the beauty of the trail, and the experience of trail angels and magic when you least expected it, to the marvelous folks I hiked with, it was the best adventure of my life. I'm looking forward to another one on the CDT.
