September 13 - Hopkins Lake to Manning Park
Again, writing this 2 months later...Me and Signal got up early and walked together the 6 miles to the border. I don't think I felt a single footstep hit the ground for those 2 hours. Especially the last 15 minutes we were both craning our necks around each corner anticipating when we would see the border.
When I finally caught up to Signal, after he ran the last 200m to the monument, I commented to him that I don't think I've seen a happier person in my life.
Sat down, made breakfast, drank a ton of tea, and sipped on the PBR that I had been carrying for the previous 4 days.
Spent the last 8 miles of the trial in Canada looking forward to seeing my parents and girlfriend, but also realizing that my summer adventure was about to end.
Had a great time, walked with amazing people, humbled by the community.
