CANADA - TRIPPPLE CROWN - 10,000 MILES!

"WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!", yup, that's the sound heard across Waterton Lake from Waterton, Can to Goat Haunt USA in the International Peace Park at 10:40am today, September 10, 2011. There is no way to put into words the emotions of that moment or even what I am feeling right now while cruising along the shores of Lake Waterton to the town of the same name in Canada.

Am I ready to be done? Yes. Am I happy to be done? Oh, yes, thrilled, extatic! I am also sad and grieving for the end of a lifestyle which means a great deal to me. Fear not, though,it will never be forgotten. It will be with me always. When you see me in the midst of life and my eyes grow distant with a thin smile cresting my face and my attention to the immediate seems to waiver, you'll know that this is where I am, out on some distant trail amongst the sounds of the breezes and the critters. Be patient a moment. I'll return to the here and now shortly.

All that's left to do now is get to Waterton by 2:30pm to catch a shuttle to the Chief Mountain Port of Entry, walk across the border through Customs, and meet up with my brother Randy who will deliver me to Glacier International Airport near Kalispell, MT for a 6am flight tomorrow, the 11th. 22 hours later I will be back stage in Gilford working with the new dimmer system upgrade. Talk about culture shock!

Thanks all for joining me on this grand adventure. The journal will be updated shortly and expanded over the winter.

Take care and get outside,
Voyageur
