About my person
Since my Worldtrip in 2009 I became a vivid hiker again, after years of neglecting my Wanderlust. I heard of the PCT and after spending some time looking at pictures of the High Sierras, I knew I wanted to do this journey some day! And i actually managed to get a sabbatical (although a bit to short I fear) and will hike the PCT in 2012. I live in Hamburg, Germany which means I can't do section hiking without going bancrupt... If the snow conditions allow, I will start the hike around the 18th of april. As I am a fairly swift hiker, I would not start this early with the Sierras being overhauled in snow.
The only thing I am very uncertain is the ADZPCTKO, where I liked to participate. This probably means I will hitchhike back and participate for a day and then head back to where I left the trail.
