Birthday Gift to self

For my 50th birthday I am giving myself a backpack trip. Heading SOBO from US border to Cascade Locks or maybe Government Camp. The party is the weekend of the September 4th in Seattle. My main goal is to experience an extended trip in preparation for thru hiking the CDT, if I ever get the time off to do it. My longest trips have been 10 day sections of the CDT with the favorite by far being Wolf Creek Pass to Silverton. I hope to have friends join along the various segments in Washington.
