SOBO Update
Well it's been forever since my last update so just in case anyone is still interested, here is what's up.
I did get back on the trail in Burney Falls but I only made it to Drakesbad before it was obvious my shins were not ready for the mileage yet. I got off the trail for more healing
and got back on the trail on 9/20 in Tuolumne Meadows. I have been hiking ever since and have made it to the Wrightwood area. The legs feel great and I can almost feel
how close the border is! Southern California has been the weirdest hiking I have ever done. The weather continues to be unpredictable this year; I walked through the Mojave
sections in a cold thunderstorm.
The SOBO 'herd' is four-five days ahead of us. We may be the last SOBO's - I am not sure where Foghorn is.
I promise more detailed updates of my experiences after the trail.
