Ready to Restart the Hike

Well, it's been a while since I updated this blog. After a couple of days home my congstion was gone and after nine days my knee was well. I was ready to return to the trail and then had a severe verdigo attack. I've been hanging around at home in hopes that I'd get better and I now think I'm OK to return to the trail. I've been busy with my hiking group taking multiple hikes each week to try to keep my hiking legs. Since weeks have passed, I'm skipping up to Dunsmuir, California to restart. I spent much of the day updating my hike plan to start at Dunsmuir, California (MM 1507) and hike up to, or at least toward, Cascade Locks, Oregon (MM 2155). I bought my Amtrak ticket to get me up to Dunsmuir. Now just a bunch of things to finish up over the next week before catching the train on August 3rd and starting the hike on August 4th.
