Occupy Los Lunas
Occupy Los Lunas and Flight Home
I bid farewell to Sue and Paul, but not before taking part in the long standing Occupy Los Lunas that has taken place every Sunday for a year and a half in their community. Yay!! The few hardy souls stand with signs in the same place--a lot of cars honk in support. Weird to then be on the sanitized plane for hours and to be in the L.A. airport for a long layover. Thanks to Arlo Bushman from the Southern Oregon Time Co op for picking me up at the Medford airport. This saves me a $ 30 taxi fare. Very good to sleep in my own bed. My muscles are stiff. I only lost about 1/2 a pound over the two months, but lost an inch in my waist and hips. No longer can I lose the weight I did when I was younger and backpacked and could lose 5 pounds in a week. Time to plan the next adventure--the PCT in Oregon in August.
