On to Moab and Home
We had breakfast at Escalante Outfitters and drove to Moab where I picked up my truck at Carroll's Mini Storage, next to the Lazy Lizard Hostel. I will spend a day in Moab, then drive home. Next year--the second half of the Hayduke Trail. It will take some time to process it all. The scenery is overwhelming and the hiking is challenging. I have found many places I would like to return when I have more time to enjoy them. I'm re-thinking the whole long distance hiker thing. Too much passing through areas without spending enough time in them to appreciate them fully.
