Light through trees on old 101
Humbug Old 101 and south of campground
Moved camp to Humbug State Park and walked north on Old 101 to new 101. More ripe blackberries.i backtracked to the campground and attempted to follow the OCT south of the campground back to 101. Unfortunately the trail gets totally eradicated by brush at the very end by appropriately named Brushy Creek.Totally impassable. Lots of poison oak and some trees down over the trail, too. This section really needs to be maintained. I can't believe they have abandoned this section and are forcing hikers to use Hwy 101 which does not have a shoulder in this section, with log trucks and RVs whizzing by. The OCT posts had a piece of wood screwed on over the directional info.
