Starting up

I have been trudging through all the information i can get my hands on to start preparing and planning for my trip up the Pacific Crest Trail. I now have my sleeping bag in my possession and I look forward to taking it out for a test drive. I spoiled myself a little and got a silk liner. I am currently trying to track down the books I need/want to do the full preperations of the trip. I will be looking for the One Pan Wonders and the Pacific Crest Trail Databook.
I have spoken with the folks at the office for the epilepsy association and they are on board with my setting out to raise fund for their organization. A little background as to why I chose this organization would help, right!!! In 1996 I lost a brother while he suffered a seizure. It is time we raise some funds for an organization that doesn't get a lot or recognition. Feel Free to donate what you can and please follow along as I plan my trip and also while I am on the trail.
