Hangin' Out

I have never hammock camped before. I think my longest stint in a hammock was a four hour Sunday nap. But I'm a still and heavy sleeper so I think this method will do me well. I'm also pretty bony so sleeping on the ground night after night made my joints ache. I'm hopeful that this method will be easier on my bones and simpler to carry and assemble.

Also I'm very proud of myself for getting my hammock hung perfectly on the very first try. Good omen? I think yes! I've got the hammock rigging down, but the tarp is another story. I'll keep you posted on that.

I had a lovely nap in my Blackbird on this unseasonably warm January day. Seriously, this thing is so spacious I could fit two of me inside. Also, it only took me 5 mins to set up on the first go. Highly recommend. But Warbonnet, come on man, if you're reading this, please make your hammocks in a color other than...well...scat.
