The past few weeks have been a rush of craziness as Lisa and I prepare for our first semi-long trek along the PCT. As novices, we had to spend quite a bit just to get the gear necessary for our Section A (Campo to Warner Springs) hike. To make matters worse, I just found out yesterday that the hiring committee that I am on has a meeting at 8 P.M. on Friday! What a bummer! We were originally supposed to leave for San Diego Friday afternoon, but this committee has set us back about 16 hours.
