September 19
At 12:45 I RAN across the border & completed my PACIFIC CREST TRAIL THRU HIKE!Descending the final switchbacks I saw the monument & my friends & I let out a tremendous YELL & ran the last 1/4 mile!
In all 25 people finished that day & it was magical to watch them all come in. We drank our Canadian whisky & hugged each other. All of us where beside ourselves. Overwhelmed with PURE JOY!
I know it will take a while for me to fully understand what we just accomplished.
