Testing the Heart and Soul of Man And Beast

Well as promised I scout out the first 10 miles of the trail north to Tahoe adventure and you are all correct aint no water anywhere even with the heavy rain and snow the week before very little run off sort of gona be dry as a popcorn fart as granpa would say this summer but the bright side was once I got up past switch back hell you can see that if you could get through this area just at the right time there would be enough water standing to get ya to walker pass and into the a better water retaining enviroment.Interesting note while investigating the section of the PCT where it comes down to walker pass had a hell of a time finding the trail where it crosses the hwyway. Had to final go high tech an rely on the gps to locate the trial. If it is the trail it is somewhat vilolated by moter vehical use couple of miles north and south of where the trial intersects 178
that all for now
