Through hiking
When WE started in April, my wife and I, I experienced this happiness on the hike. On this solo journey, I have had very little. Katahdin was a spiritual journey for me, and I conquered huge fear issues on that mountain. I will carry that in my left shirt pocket for the rest of my life. The highlight: the call I made to my wife from the top. I have tried thru hiking... And now I am through. I feel no regret, and I wouldn't trade a mile in as I have learned and experienced so much. I have met great people too, all whom I call friend. I feel no failure... Maine is damn hard hiking and i've hiked 350 miles of the AT this year. What was once my dream has materialized into a dream I want to share with my wife... Without her the fun and happiness are not there.Thanks to everyone for their support during this journey...
