Second Planning

I've been home for a whole week, and already, I'm planning to go back. Not to where I left off, for sure. And not with the people I left, sad enough. But it is my goal this summer to hike oregon and washington. That makes me happy enough. Maybe next summer I can work on California. This makes me pleased, to know I'm better starting in familiar territory. Learning what it takes. Hiking for the week in California, I learned a lot about myself. Namely, I need to know what to expect. I need to know what the weather will be like, how my body will react, how my emotions will hold up. Lots of people can adapt. I can't. Not like that. I need to build up to it.
So, I have some time to help me. In this time I want to :

Shape up and work out and build muscles and endurance
Save up and get a job for a few weeks
Lose weight (I'd like to lose 30 pounds)
Really learn the area I'll be hiking, printing halfmiles maps (I really liked looking off others, I wish I'd known to get myself some before I started)
