Visit Soldierstone

I had received several emails before May - the start of this hike - that described a clandestine veteran memorial located near the CDT/CT near Salida, CO. My intention has been to locate and visit the site after I reached Rawlins. Today, I completed the visit. I passed by a couple approximately my age who were returning from their visit. Their directions were simple: just follow the road to the end and look to the northeast. You will find it. I did.
