My first journal entry! Getting ready to hit the trail August 2nd through 24th hiking from Sky Lake Wilderness to Bridge of the Gods at the Columbia River (OK, so this year I'm just getting my feet wet to see if I might want to do a through hike).

The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is a 2,650-mile national scenic trail that runs from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon and Washington.
