Looked forward to today and the scenery.. it did not disappoint.. all three sisters in full view, obsidian rocks, bubbling springs, the beginnings of lava rock.. didn't use dog booties today but will have to tomorrow..9 miles left, most of it lava..planning on a 4 am wake up call, to get us over the lava early..I'll hitch a ride into Sisters, then I'll play hiker trash one more day by staying in the hiker biker site at the campground.. then I'll walk the trails miles to home!
