Plans

I planned on 8 days. I decided to cache water at Cerro Gordo, then drive up Saline Valley Road and make possibly 3 caches depending on how far I could get, then Trona-Wildrose Rd., pick up a permit at Furnace Creek and ask about current conditions, then make another cache at West Side Road. I’d park at Badwater and start around sunset to avoid the heat of the day. I planned to hitch back to the car at Panamint Springs, drive back to Panamint Springs or thereabouts and leave the car there and continue on, retrieving it when I got to Lone Pine.
