It's taken me awhile to admit my PCT adventure is over for 2009, but I feel good about accomplishing the first 600 miles and the trail isn't going anywhere. I thought some of you might be wondering "whatever happened to Miss Alaska". The picture I posted here tells the story. I moved back to Alaska on June 29. It feels good to be home. Its a beautiful summer here in the north land and its also the 50th Anniversary Year of our statewood! I'm looking forward to reclaiming my cabin from the bears. There's lots of work to be done before the snow flys. I am taking my first tentative steps on my feet since I tossed the boot and so far, so good. If any of my PCT friends are ever in the neighborhood, please look me up! But, be warned, you'll probably be put to work.
