First Entry, Pacific Crest Trail 2005
OK then. The web page now has a pulse.Like any aspiring thru-hiker, I've been training and it seems to be going well. Up to this point I've got about 200 training miles behind me. I was really starting to worry because I just couldn't seem to find my stride. My stride has seemed forced, short and choppy; completely unnatural. Well, today out on Craig's Creek Trail it found me. It was really a good feeling. That old relaxed jaunt that carries me mile after mile is back. Whew!
