McKenzie Pass

Well.

Today I made it to Highway 242 in McKenzie Pass. This seemed like the ideal place to get off the trail. I managed to hitch a ride into Sisters, Oregon, where I've acquired a room at the Comfort Inn.

I've decided to end my thru-hike attempt after 1,989.5 miles and will head home in a day or two. I choose not to get up in the morning and force myself to walk 25-30 miles.

My epilogue will contain more elaborate thoughts on the matter.

I'm headed home, yeeaaaa!
