THE PLAN
So, the plan is to Thru-hike the JMT from South to North. I'm starting in the late afternoon on July 12th at Horseshoe Meadows, near Lone Pine, and hoping to complete the trail by July 29th (my daughter Mckenna's 17th birthday is July 30th) at Happy Isles Trailhead in Yosemite National Park. My son Zach will be hiking the first segment with me - - from Horseshoe Meadows to Onion Valley Trailhead. I will resupply in Lone Pine, and continue solo, resupplying one more time in Mammoth, then finish the hike in Yosemite. That's the plan, now I just gotta make it happen...
